Where do I buy these books?

Your Own World Books is an online electronic publisher. Our print and electronic editions are available online through Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com and many other fine booksellers.

We also sell a select number of titles directly through this site.

What about multiple orders on the same day?

We often receive multiple credit card orders from the same customer, on the same day and to the same mailing address.

When we do, we consolidate your orders to save you money wherever we can. Here are the two things we do:

• Value Package Upgrade: If we ship you a value package such as our Home Study System with all the products you've ordered separately, we'll consolidate the order and pass the cost savings on to you.
  
  
• Postal Savings: For all orders over $9.91, we use flat-rate USPS Priority Mail shipping. As the USPS says: " If it fits, it ships." If we can, we'll consolidate your order and pass the postal savings on to you.

When we can save you money, we'll issue a partial refund to your credit card the same day we ship your order.

How will you ship my order?

All domestic and international orders placed through this web site are shipped via the United States Postal System (USPS). Service depends on the amount of the order.

We ship to street addresses and postal boxes any address in the world served by the USPS. This includes APO/FPO addresses.

Do you guarantee international delivery?

A good portion of our sales are international and we ship worldwide via USPS. This service is reliable, however, once your order leaves the US, delivery cannot be guaranteed.

For reliable delivery provide a mailing address recognized by your postal service, plus a valid telephone number and email address. If you're not sure about the address, contact your local post office for instructions.

Postal tracking on orders with a cost range of $9.191 and up, typically ends at the US departure port. However, in recent years, electronic data sharing between US and foreign post offices has improved and a growing number of countries now share complete tracking information with the USPS. If your country is doing this, this information will automatically be available to you via the USPS.com web site.

Are international orders insured?

Only international orders with a cost range of $44.91 and up, are insured. If your order is lost or damaged in transit you will need to present your tracking information to the local postmaster to initiate the claim.

Once we are advised by the USPS that your claim is approved for processing, we will immediately ship you a full replacement order and sort out the details later.

What do you recommend for international customers?

For the best value and safety, we recommend that international (outside the USA) customers do the following:

• Verify Your Mailing Address: This is the most important thing you can do to ensure reliable delivery. Especially with orders that qualify for international insurance.
  
  
• Be There to Accept Delivery: The most common delivery problem we see, is that nobody was home to accept delivery. Or, the addressee ignored the delivery attempt notices.
  
  
• Look for Double Order  Offers: A great way for International customers and their friends, to save BIG.
  
  
• Order a Value Package: Our Home Study System and Master Research Library offer substantial savings, and are automatically insured with all international orders.

Please note, APO/FPO addresses are treated as US domestic mail. If undeliverable, the parcel will be abandoned with the receiving military unit.

Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

We're proud to ship to all US military addresses. When placing an order for any APO/FPO address, please be sure to use the domestic US rate.

If you place your order with an International postage rate, we'll refund the difference to you, the same day we ship the order.

What eBooks formats are available?

We offer our titles in several popular eBook formats to include:

What if I have a problem with my eBook reader?

Computers do crash and lose all their data. Unfortunately, this causes a real problem with encrypted eBook reader software. Unfortunately, we cannot help you.

This is because, once we place an eBook into distribution, the distributor and their resellers assume full control over delivery.

In most cases, if you contact the reseller with proof of purchase, their support team will help you restore your encrypted eBook(s).

However, the best way to ensure your eBook purchases is with backup programs such as Acronis True Image.

What does copyable CD mean?

Typical audio and data CDs offered for sale in stores and on the Internet come with built-in encryption that prevents them from being duplicated.

Because we're committed to creating awareness all of our CDs are copyable using any CD-R duplicator such as those commonly available with popular personal computers.

We encourage you to freely share unlimited copies of our CDs with your friends and family.

Please note, you are specifically prohibited from reselling copies of our CDs and modifying any of the content stored on them in any way.

Why doesn't the CD work in my DVD player?

None of our CD-media is designed to work in home television DVD players. They are all designed for use with personal computers and/or conventional audio-CD players such as those in your auto or home stereos.

Why doesn't the CD work in my PC?

If your audio or data CD will not work with your personal computer, it could be a defect with the CD drive. Or, your older model PC cannot read modern, high-speed CD discs.

The best way to check, is to see if the CD will work with a another computer. If so, all of the CDs we sell are copyable, so make a slow speed (2X or 4X) copy of your disks. These slow-speed copies should work reliably with your older model PC.

Can I find these books at my local library?

Several libraries world wide already stock or have ordered our titles. Otherwise, all you need to do is to note the title of the book and its ISBN number. Both can be found on product page.

Then let your librarian know they can purchase the book as follows:

• Paperback Print Editions: All of our paperback and cloth cover print editions are available through distributors such as Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com and others.
  
  
• The Kolbrin Bible Collector's Edition: This leather-bound edition is only available from this web site. We do offer a library discount for orders placed on letterhead. Ask your librarian contact us directly.
  
  
• eBooks: Your Own World Books is publishing member of the OverDrive Digital Library Reserve.

In many cases, libraries will accommodate a library member request for a new title.

How do I buy print books at my local bookstore?

All of our print editions can be purchased through brick and mortar booksellers. Provide them with the title and ISBN number and they can order the book in from our distributor. That's all it takes.

All of our paperback and cloth cover print editions are available through distributors such as Ingram, Baker & Taylor, Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com and others.

Returns and Refunds Policy

All sales are final and we do not accept returns or issue refunds. For damaged or lost orders our policy is as follows:

• Domestic Orders Damaged or Lost in Transit: With USPS proof of transit damage or loss, we will ship you a complete replacement order at no cost to you.
  
  
• International Orders Damaged or Lost in Transit: We do not guarantee delivery to any international address. If your damaged or lost order qualifies for postal insurance coverage, a complete replacement order at no cost to you..
  
  
• Undeliverable Domestic and International Orders: If your local post office is unable to deliver your order and returns it to us, we will notify you via email with re-shipment fee. Unclaimed orders will be subject to forfeit after 60 days. Upon receipt of your re-shipment fee, we will re-ship your order.
  
  
• APO/FPO Addresses: We do not guarantee delivery to APO/FPO addresses. If undeliverable, the parcel will be abandoned with the receiving military unit.

Please note, we pack and ship our own orders. All products are personally inspected for product defects and completeness. If you receive an incomplete order, please contact us immediately.
